Originally built in 1890, and owned by different families over the years, we still have much to learn about our farm’s history, but know the name came from the Williams family who lived here for over 30 years starting in the 1970’s.

Our goal is to provide our community with wholesome, sustainably grown fruits, vegetables, meats & eggs. We strive to raise our animals in an ethical & humane way so they live their best lives while they’re with us on the farm. Our animals are all free range or are provided access to fresh pasture daily through careful rotational grazing to not just utilize, but also improve the land for future generations.

We start our vegetables all from non-GMO, organic seed and grow them using sustainable practices and no pesticides. Our poultry receive a non-GMO feed milled locally in MD along with ample access to fresh pasture which provides plenty of bugs, seeds & other yums for the birds to forage.

Sustainability is the key - whether its how you grow food, wash your clothes, spend your leisure time or travel to work - everything you do has an impact on the environment.

It’s not ours, it’s just our turn.

While we didn’t grow up in agricultural families, we were both very fortunate to have grandparents that were passionate about gardening and growing food to feed their families. It was that exposure at a young age which planted the seeds for our dream of one day living on a farm and building on the skills & love of the land passed on to us by our grandparents.

After getting married in 2019, we decided to pursue our dream of having a small farm & began searching for a place to call our own. Little did we know how the real estate market & the world in general would be changed by Covid-19. It seemed like everyone had the same idea of fresh air & a place to grow their own food & after a year of offers on other properties, we found Willow Brook Farm. While the fields haven’t been actively worked in over 20 years & the grounds were heavily overgrown, we loved the character of the house & saw great potential for all the ideas we’ve had over the years. Almost a year into our ownership we have made a lot of progress & have much more on our to-do list, but love to work in this beautiful area of Pennsylvania.

Often seen sniffing for critters in the pasture or just lounging in the shade while we work, our dogs love the openness of the farm & are our constant companions.
